Counties Energy

Counties Energy owns and operates the electricity distribution network that services over 42,000 home, farm and business connections in the fast-growing Counties area. The network runs from coast to coast between southern Papakura and Mercer, and west of the Waikato River from Mercer to Waikaretu.  The company is 100% locally owned, with shares held on behalf of local people by the Counties Power Consumer Trust. Counties Energy is proud to be the official club rugby sponsor of Counties Manukau Rugby Football Union and main sponsor for the Counties Energy Heat.
