Counties Energy Heat stars Ruby Tui and Hazel Tubic have been named in the Black Ferns side to play Australia in the opening game of the O’Reilly Cup on Saturday at 7.05pm.

Tui has been named to start on the wing after scintillating form in the Farah Palmer Cup with the Counties Energy Heat this season.

Tubic, who brought up 50 games for the Counties Energy Heat recently, has been listed on the reserves bench and will provide impact later in the game.

The Black Ferns face Australia at Orangetheory Stadium in Christchurch this weekend in the opening test before a trip across the Tasman for the second test next weekend in Adelaide.
