The Counties Energy Heat have continued their outstanding start to the Farah Palmer Cup with a 41-31 win over Bay of Plenty in Whakatane on Saturday.

It is the third straight win for the Heat, who sit atop the standings.

Wingers Shaynne Thompson (three) and Yurina Shinno (two) combined for five of the Heat’s seven tries in the bonus point win.

The Heat return to Navigation Homes Stadium next Sunday when they host Northland.
