The Counties Manukau Steelers have recorded their first win of the NPC season with a 36-33 win away to North Harbour on Saturday.
A late try to Simon-Peter Toleafoa proved the difference as the visitors scored to go in front with a couple of minutes remaining.
Earlier they had raced out to a 31-14 lead before surrendering that advantage in the second half.
Chiefs flyer Etene Nanai-Seturo made an impact in his first game of the season, scoring a pair of first half tries while Adam Brash and Jonathan Taumateine also dotted down.
The Steelers return home next Sunday to face Northland.
