Navigation Homes Stadium in Pukekohe will swap out goal posts and try lines for a stage and mosh pit as Southern Comfort Freqs Out South takes centre stage on April 30.

Hosted by George FM, Freqs Out South has attracted high profile DJs such as Benny Boy, Twofold, Dan Aux, Sean Richards, Shannon E, Grommie, Cheff, Fairbrother and TREI.

But the headline act, confirmed today, is British drum and base star Subsonic.

It is the first time that the venue has played host to a concert and is part of a push from Counties Manukau Rugby to use the venue more for opportunities outside of rugby.

The concert is likely to attract significant numbers, especially after today’s Subsonic announcement.
