A strong Bayleys Counties Manukau Bs wider squad has been named for the upcoming representative season with McNamara Cup-winning mentor Jeremy Clark confirmed as head coach.
There are 16 players from Clark’s championship-winning Manurewa side named in the squad while Patumahoe contributes seven players.
There is significant representation from Pukekohe, Bombay, Karaka and Papakura as well.
“It is great to be able to bring together so much talent in one group,” Clark said. “I am really looking forward to the opportunity of working with this group of players and helping them continue to develop within the wider representative scene as well.
“After a couple of seasons lost to COVID, we are all looking forward to playing representative rugby again this season.”
The Bayleys Counties Manukau Bs begin their campaign on Saturday when they meet Northland in Whangarei.
