Counties Manukau Steelers representatives Alamanda Motuga and Samuel Slade have been named in the Manu Samoa squad for the upcoming Rugby World Cup.

Both players have represented Moana Pasifika the past two seasons in Super Rugby Pacific and have enjoyed strong careers with the PIC Steelers.

Slade (Pukekohe) is one of the locks in the Samoan squad while Motuga (Papakura) has been confirmed among the loose forwards.

Samoa faces pool games against England, Japan, Argentina and Chile in Pool D.
