Coach Reon Graham will welcome back gun halfback Cameron Roigard for Sunday’s final NPC match against Wellington at Navigation Homes Stadium.
The in-form Roigard missed last weekend’s game against Southland but has been a starter in each of the other games so far this season.
Graham’s side will be highly motivated to finish the season on a high, with the Jonah Lomu Memorial Trophy up for grabs.
Manurewa loose forward Setefano Leavasa gets a start in the number eight jumper this week, while talented young Pukekohe prop Kauvaka Kaivelata comes back onto the bench, as does Patumahoe utility Nua Soti.
Jonathan Taumateine drops back to the bench and is bracketed with Liam Daniela.
The PIC Steelers will wear a special edition throwback Canterbury of New Zealand jersey to honour legendary wingers Jonah Lomu and Joeli Vidiri, with the starting 15 being auctioned off after the game.
The game kicks off at 2.05pm with the Counties Manukau Police playing the Auckland Police in the curtain raiser.
Keep an eye out for a police-themed arrival for the match ball for the NPC game.
