The experienced Waikohika Flesher comes into the starting side for the Counties Energy Heat as they look to get back to winning ways against the Bay of Plenty Volcanix on Sunday.
Flesher will start of the right wing, replacing the injured Ruby Tui, for Sunday’s Farah Palmer Cup clash at Tauranga Domain.
Black Fern Tui was injured in last week’s game and is not cleared for selection this week.
Coach JP Faamausili has tweaked his bench as well with Ana Mamea and Ocean Tierney being named after sitting out last week’s narrow loss to Canterbury.
The Volcanix have made a hot start to the competition, beating Manawatu and Auckland before a narrow loss to defending champions Waikato last week.
After back-to-back losses to start their campaign, the Counties Energy Heat have impressed in the past fortnight with a road win over Manawatu and were unlucky not to hold on for a win last week against Canterbury.
The game kicks off at 11.35am.
