The Counties Energy Heat contingent have cleaned up at the Super Rugby Aupiki Awards with three players earning recognition.

New Black Ferns representative Grace Gago collected the Player of the Year award for the Blues as well as Forward of the Year. It follows her treble of Player of the Year, Player’s Player and Forward of the Year for the Heat during their 2022 campaign.

Jaymie Kolose was chosen as the Blues Rookie of the Year to follow up winning the same award with the Heat last year.

Mererangi Paul, who like Gago became a Black Fern for the first time this year, was given Rookie of the Year for the Chiefs Manawa.
