Counties Energy Heat stars Ruby Tui, Hazel Tubic and Arihiana Marino-Tauhinu are world champions after helping the Black Ferns win the World Cup final over England on Saturday night.

The Black Ferns won a memorable final, coming from behind to defeat the red-hot favourites in the tournament decider in front of a packed Eden Park.

It caps a memorable season for the trio – Tui was an absolute star across the tournament while Tubic saw some late minutes off the bench in the final.

Marino-Tauhinu, who captained the Black Ferns earlier in the tournament, led an emotional post game haka as a thank you to the sell-out crowd.
