Welcome to Counties Manukau Referees
Registrations are now open for the 2025 season- please follow the link to register and read the following to understand which box you to register under.
Referee-
- Referees are Members of the Counties Manukau Rugby Referees Association- Involved with rugby of all grades throughout the year.
- Existing Members are to re-register. Will receive Referee Association Information as normal.
- If you are a new member, signing up to the Referee Association. Referee Education Officer Liam Sargent will be in touch separately to send out more information.
Reminder: If you wish to register as Associate Referee- Please scroll to Referee Administrator.
Referee Coach-
A Referee Coach is a member of the Counties Manukau Rugby Referees Association, Coaching association members to upskill and improve their refereeing qualities.

Referee Coach-
A Referee Coach is a member of the Counties Manukau Rugby Referees Association, Coaching association members to upskill and improve their refereeing qualities.
Referee Administrator/Associate Referee-
- Referee Administrator are members not involved with on field activities but still associated with the Association.
- Associate Referees are accredited to referee rugby, without being members of the Referees Association, Associate Referees are eligible to referee up to u19 rugby when an Association Member is unavailable.
- Associate Referees are accredited for 3 years. If you have done a course in 2023/2024 then you will not be required to re-take the course. If not, then you will be required to take part in a course for 2025
