Weymouth Rugby Club has appointed Lio Neueli and Johan Fagasina as their Premier coaches for the 2023 rugby season.

A post on the club’s Facebook page confirmed the move.

“Both bring a lot of experience and great knowledge of the game with a lot of passion to grow the game within our community,” The Facebook post said.

“Both have Premier level rugby experience having played in various clubs in Counties Manukau and in Auckland as well coaching experience in all grades of the game, from juniors to premier level as well as representative teams

Neueli has coached Counties Manukau U16 Girls and also played representative rugby for Counties Manukau in junior grade as well as U19 and U21 level.

Fagasina brings his experience and passion after doing time as an assistant and as player/coach in a few clubs in both Counties Manukau and in Auckland.

“On behalf of the Weymouth rugby football club and the committee we welcome our Premier coaches Lio Neueli and Johan Fagasina, looking forward to the season ahead,” the post added.
