Defending champions Tuakau/Onewhero proved too strong for Pukekohe High School in Counties Manukau Rugby Secondary Schools 1st XV action on Saturday.

The combination side ran out 49-5 winners in their match at Pukekohe High.

Waiuku College scored a 29-0 win over Alfriston College while Wesley College collected a 24-3 win over Hauraki Plains College.

In the battle between neighbouring schools, Rosehill College have bragging rights over Papakura High School thanks to a 24-12 victory.

Pukekohe High School enjoyed a 38-24 win over Alfriston College in Girls 10s action.

Waiuku College defeated Papakura High School Green with a 32-5 victory.

Waiuku College beat Alfriston 52-5 in Boys U15 Open while elsewhere, Papakura beat Rosehill 24-17 and Pukekohe thumped Tuakau/Onewhero 60-10.

In Boys U14 Open, Waiuku College beat Tuakau/Onewhero 31-19 while Pukekohe thrashed Rosehill 72-5.

Manurewa High School 1st XV lost to Rangitoto 36-10 in North Harbour 1st XV action.

Pukekohe High School 1st XV scored a 12-0 win over St John’s in the Waikato 1st XV competition.

Wesley 1st XV had a bye.
