In 2019, our Premier 1^st XV rugby boys teams are scattered throughout 4 respective competitions. Wesley College are again in the Central North Island 1^st XV Competition, Manurewa High School for the first time in the North Harbour 1^st XV Competition and Alfriston College, Papakura High School, Pukekohe High School and Rosehill College for the first time in the Auckland 1C 1^st XV Competition.

So far this season, Wesley College are 2 from 3 in two tight encounters and one great victory that screened on Sky Sport where they versed Rathkeale College, whipping them 73-0.

Manurewa High School have enjoyed new encounters proving tough against teams across the harbour bridge with a notable victory over Whangarei Boys (22-12).

Our schools involved in the Auckland 1C are enjoying the new competition of 11 teams where all four have experienced much success. Rosehill College, Alfriston College and Pukekohe High School all sit in the top 4 at this point and Papakura High have fought well to stay in the pack.

Notable performances for each school has been Rosehill against Avondale College (20-18), Alfriston against Howick College (24-22), Pukekohe High against Papatoetoe High (34-28) and Papakura High against Edgewater College (28-0).
