Defending champions Tuakau College/Onewhero Area School tackle Waiuku College in the semi-finals of the Counties Manukau Rugby Secondary Schools 1st XV competition on Saturday.
Tuakau/Onewhero has been the cream of the crop throughout round robin play, winning all 10 matches so far this season.
They face a Waiuku side that has shown promise but dropped their last three games against the other semi-finalists.
The game will be played at Onewhero from midday.
Last year’s runners-up Hauraki Plains hosts Rosehill College in the other semi-final in what shapes as an intriguing match.
Rosehill College came out on top in their most recent meeting back on July 29 so will feel like they are capable of winning through to the decider.
The game will kick off at midday from Hauraki Plains College.
Papakura High School takes on Pukekohe High School in a consolation game at Papakura High.
Pukekohe High School hosts Alfriston College in the semi-finals of the Boys U15 Open grade while in the second semi-final, Tuakau/Onewhero travels to Waiuku College.
In Boys U14 Open action, Rosehill College travels to Pukekohe High School in one semi-final, while in the other Waiuku College hosts Tuakau/Onewhero.
