The Counties Manukau U85kg representative side begins their 2022 campaign on Saturday when they host Waikato at Colin Lawrie Fields in Pukekohe at 2.45pm.
The local side will be without any of the Karaka contingent, who are competing in the semi-finals of the NZ Barbarians national competition.
The Karaka Razzlers face the Southern Bush Pigs at 11.45am at Bathgate Park in Dunedin on Saturday.
The winner will advance to next week’s final, which serves as the curtain-raiser to the All Blacks v Argentina test.
Counties Manukau U19s, fresh off their narrow win over Waikato last weekend, travel to FMG Stadium in Hamilton to play Taranaki at 1pm on Saturday.
The Counties Manukau Bs will look to secure a win over Bay of Plenty, when they head to Tauranga on Saturday with a 2.45pm kick-off at Blake Park.
The Counties Energy Heat face a must-win game against defending FPC champions Waikato from 12.05pm on Saturday at Navigation Homes in Pukekohe.
The boys’ secondary schools final between Hauraki Plains College and Tuakau College/Onewhero Area School will follow, with kick-off set for 2pm.
The rep weekend concludes with the PIC Steelers tackling the Bay of Plenty Steamers from 2.05pm at Tauranga Domain on Sunday.
