Pukekohe High School has successfully defended the 1^st XV Challenge Shield after beating Tuakau College 51-7 in Bhana Family Farms Counties Manukau Secondary Schools Rugby on Saturday. The home side top the standings with their third successive win and complete the first defence of the shield they won last week.

 

Rosehill College picked up a 20-7 victory over Waiuku College while Papakura High School claimed a 41-8 win over Manurewa High School away from home.

Tuakau College scored a 29-12 win on the road at Papakura High School in Boys U15 Open play.

Waiuku College defended home ground advantage as they beat Pukekohe High 39-19 while Alfriston College got a 37-22 win on the road against Te Kauwhata College.

In Boys U14 Open action, St Ignatius edged Waiuku College 22-19 while Tuakau College prevailed over Wesley College 39-12.

Pukekohe High picked up a 17-5 win over Waiuku College in Girls 12s play while Alfriston College continued their strong form with a 24-12 victory over Tuakau College.
