Pukekohe High School have lifted the 1^st XV Challenge Shield after beating Papakura High School 45-0 in Bhana Family Farms Counties Manukau Secondary Schools Rugby on Saturday. In winning the match, Pukekohe High becomes the second holders, and first to successfully win the new shield via a challenge.

 

Rosehill College prevailed 38-27 against Tuakau College while Waiuku College eased to a 56-7 win against Manurewa High School.

Waiuku College secured a 20-5 win on the road against Papakura High in Boys U15 Open play.

Pukekohe High grabbed a 50-10 win over Te Kauwhata College while Tuakau College made it all three wins for road teams as they beat Alfriston College 33-10.

Pukekohe High triumphed 33-14 over Tuakau College in Boys U14 Open action while Wesley College beat Waiuku College 36-5.

In Girls 12s play, Alfriston College secured a narrow 25-17 win away to Papakura High.

Tuakau College were too good for Waiuku College 42-5 while James Cook High beat Pukekohe High 36-10.
