Two local outfits come up against each other in Coleman Shield Women’s Premier action on Friday night with Papakura hosting Pukekohe at Massey Park.
The home side have had a disrupted start to the season and the club has shown plenty of heart in being able to compete this season.
They will look to bounce back after being forced to default last week.
Pukekohe will hope to continue their good form after picking up their first win of the season last week. A win could have them sitting in the top four by the weekend’s end.
Top-of-the-table Manurewa head to Mt Wellington War Memorial Park on Saturday to face Marist in what should be a fascinating battle.
Weymouth and Patumahoe both have byes in the Women’s 10-a-side competition.
