The Bayleys Counties Manukau Bs proved too strong for the Pacific Island Rugby U20 side, with Jeremy Clark's side securing a 36-12 win in their contest on Saturday.

The Counties Manukau U85s secured a narrow 20-19 win over neighbours Waikato in their clash in Hamilton. The side can be proud of their efforts to secure that win.

There were some strong results for local sides in age group rugby as well – the Counties Manukau U16 Boys side beat the Counties Maori U17 team 17-8 while the Counties Manukau U19 Girls were too good for Auckland East – running out 31-12 winners.
