Manurewa prop Lachlan Collier will play his 150th Premier game for the club when they host Karaka at Mountfort Park this Saturday.
Known affectionately as Weetbix, Collier has been a fixture in the side over the past decade and helped the club to win their first McNamara Cup in 24 years last season.
The prop forward debuted 12 years ago and has epitomised everything the club stands for during his time wearing the green and white.
“A hearty Rewa man through and through,” coach Jeremy Clark told Counties Sports Hub. “I have had the pleasure to be involved with Weety for six seasons.
“He’s adapted year in year out with the game evolving in the front row.
“Just a funny character and a senior member of the squad each season.
“He is very deserving of this accolade, and I feel he has 2-3 years left in him and getting him to 200 games - he's only 30.”
Manurewa sits fifth at the end of the first round and are just two points outside the semi-final spots as it stands.
